Letters of Gratitude

“On behalf of the Fisher Family and the rest of the Board of Trustees, Fisher House Foundation, Inc., please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contribution designated for the Womack Fisher House. It is through donations such as yours that we are able to continue having a positive impact on the quality of life of ‘our greatest national treasure…our military service men and women and their loved ones.’

Your donation to Fisher House is even more meaningful as our thoughts and prayers are with America’s service men and women engaged in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.”

“Thank you for your recent donation to the Fort Bragg Fisher House. This will greatly enhance our efforts to provide a ‘Home Away From Home’ atmosphere for our injured soldiers’ families to stay while they are undergoing medical care. Your kind generosity has made it possible for numerous families to stay with us at no cost to them.

We, the Fort Bragg Fisher House family, wish to express the deepest gratitude that we feel towards your corporation’s efforts to comfort our returning Veterans and their families.”

  Fort Bragg Fisher House Manager

“Thank you so much for your generous donation to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). I cannot thank you enough for your support of the truly deserving thousands of men and women that are wounded in our current military conflicts.

Our work begins at the bedside of our severely injured service men and women as they undergo treatment and rehabilitation in Department of Defense Hospitals and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. As a result of your tremendous fundraising efforts with the inaugural Patriot Gala, you are directly responsible for our ability to provide comfort items, counseling, and rehabilitation to aid in the transition from a hospital bed to an independent productive life. Through our adaptive sports programs, our wounded soldiers see and join others who have been severely injured now snow skiing, fishing and bike riding.

WWP is dedicated to assisting this new generation of severely injured heroes. They have served with honor and deserve our continuous support. Like one soldier carrying the other to safety as depicted in our logo, so now are you helping us carry soldiers in their time of need. Again, I cannot thank you enough.”

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I’d like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation for your generous donation of financial support to the USO of North Carolina in support of our Wounded Warrior program and the brand new Charlotte Douglas International Airport USO Center.

I was absolutely honored to attend the Patriot Gala. It was a stunning and glamorous affair. The military pageantry was suburb and your guests in attendance were so very gracious with all the military members present.

Your contribution will greatly enhance our efforts and ability to assist our wounded warriors. While our service members continue to deploy, our programs and services are in great demand and your donation will help to ensure that we are here for them and their families when they need us.

I would like to say one more thank you for your support and with your help, we are… proudly serving those who defend our freedom.”

  GySgt Judy Pitchford, USMC (Ret)
  USO-NC, Inc., President

“It is with deepest gratitude that Hope For The WarriorsTM extends our appreciation for your very generous donation. Through your contribution and support, you have played a key role in allowing us to fulfill its mission of enhancing the quality of life for the many US military members and families nationwide, who have been adversely affected by injuries or death in the line of duty. Together we will ensure that the sacrifices of wounded and fallen warriors and their families are never forgotten nor their needs unmet.”

  Mary Simcock
  Hope For The WarriorsTM, Treasurer

“Thank you! The ‘Angels of Mercy’ Program is honored that you selected us as a beneficiary of your inaugural Patriot Gala. I wish to express sincere appreciation for your most generous donation and for taking the appeal to assist our wounded and injured Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at Walter Reed Army Medical Center to heart.

Know that these young men and women are extremely thankful for everything they receive; conversely, we tell them just how much America appreciates what they have done in the name of ‘Freedom For All.’

As a result of generous support our ‘No Soldier Left Behind’ project focuses on the long-term care needs of our wounded military; and our ‘Angels in Iraq’ was launched to supply Combat Support Hospitals with non-medical items for wounded service men and women.

Thank you for being a part of this important effort.”

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 270, President

“It takes patriotic Americans, such as you, who take into consideration the sacrifices our soldiers and their families make in ensuring the safety and freedom we all enjoy here at home.

Your contributions to the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes goes towards several programs which provide services to the wounded soldiers and their families such as the Road to Recovery Conference and Tribute, Homes for Wounded Heroes, Family Support Network, Hire a Hero, and the Emergency Financial Relief Program.

Words cannot express our sincerest gratitude and the appreciation expressed from the service members you will have assisted.”
